yikes

Late last night, when I stumbled home drunk,
pissed off and looking for a fight, my adorable
little 4-year-old Debbie Sue ran and hid
the kitchen knives all on her own.
Kids -- they grow up so fast, don't they?

  1. where on earth did you get that? sounds like it could be a country song. lots of drinking & fighting in those kinds of lyrics.

no offense to any of you who like country, i have been known to listen myself.

  5. She hid the sharp knives,
    My butt got the hives,
    I stumbled to bed,
and found where they'd been hid.

    My love life has changed...ohhhhhh
    (insert yodel section)

  6. Denden, you inspired me . . .

Mama, don't let your babies go down to Baldini's,
    They'll liquor you up,
    And take every dime,
The country decor floats my boat every time.

  9. Why make up lyrics when you've already got lines in songs like "We'll put a boot in your *** it's the American way."

  10. that's some of the least lame country lyrics i've heard, jeni. i'd personally say as long as great songwriters like big & rich win awards, your genre of music is terrible.

i remember seeing their name on the lawlor sign and figuring they must be rappers because no other type of musician would have a name as pathetic as big & rich. congratulations, country music, you are officially the lowest common denominator of "entertainment" that has ever existed. thanks.
