When someone asks me to save his place in
line so he can take his son to the bathroom,
I agree, but when they come back I exclaim,
"Hey, what's going on? No cuts!" Then I
love looking over my shoulder and waving at
the loser as he fumes at the back of the line.
People need to learn just what a true
commitment to Space Mountain involves.

"One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to DisneyLand, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "DisneyLand burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real DisneyLand, but it was getting pretty late." ~ Jack Handy (Deep Thoughts)
I can remember one Christmas when I woke up and came eagerly to see what gifts I got. There was nothing except a few assorted things in the stocking! I was devastated. Everyone else opened their gifts and Christmas proceeded. After about an hour, my father asked me to put the dog outside. I was so depressed (I hadn't said anything to anyone but just kept it inside) that I opened the door a crack and let the dog out. After a while Dad asked me if I had seen outside. It turns out that they had gotten me a bicycle for Christmas and left it outside in the back yard. Very funny joke! When I think about it now I think it was a very cruel thing to do to a child. The pain of that stayed with me for years.
