Problems

The problem with loyalty is there is little room for practicality. What I mean is when one is loyal to something or someone, and the instance arises to change being loyal to do what is best, it is difficult for that one person to make the change. I am a loyal person. I am having a difficult time choosing what is best for myself over what I am loyal to. Sometimes I wish my husband was more controlling and would just make my decisions for me. Sigh. No, no I don't, but you know what I mean.

i will not kiss my dog, as i have seen him on more than one occasion drinking out of the poop toilet. js. however, there are things that are worth being loyal to (your sister, the rest of your family, your jeans that never let you down, your sister's hatred of dillards, etc...) and then there are things that just are because they're what's been. those things don't deserve your loyalty. they can have your fondness, your pleasant memories, your good recommendation for others, but they don't need YOU. you are making the right choice--the one that makes the most sense. go with it. do it. now. 3...2...1...now. do it. 5...4....3...

..shake my hand... FYI I am totally loyal to my sister's hatred of dillards. Those people are racist and stupid. I have even gotten other people to stop shopping there. activist

Whoa, whoa, whoa people! Slow down on the Dillards bashing. I gotta say, from a man's point of view, it's a great place. Nice stuff, good sales (sometimes, okay, not really). But what do I know, I'm a man, who can't really even afford their stuff, and only own's one shirt from there. But it's a great shirt!

And, I'll agree on the loyalty to a good pair of jeans. I hate to admit it but, I've got my favorite pair.

I gotta go before I start wondering about my masculinity. Shontell, you're the only person I know that could get me on a topic of Dillards and jeans. You've got talent girl!

ya I don't really get it. If you're loyal, but it doesn't work, just tell em sorry, can't do it anymore - unless of course it's your chiropractor.
I like to say why it's not working anymore, that way if it doesn't get changed, at least I tried to address it, right? Does it apply. I am all about advice today.

tmoney - it's easier to be disloyal to your chiropractor if you don't marry them. just an fyi.
